Boy is it tough to find lighting for a cathedral ceiling. usually recessed pot lights won't work because the roof structure is too shallow (not enough leftover space for insulation).
Then there's ceiling mounted lights, track lighting, or perimeter lighting which to me makes the room look like a commercial space.
Then I found led cable lighting. It comes in a kit, you string the wires across the room and then clip the lighting heads onto the wires and point them wherever you need light.
Best of all they use very little power.

These are quite common in both businesses and homes, here in Cambodia. I think they look very nice and accentuate the ceiling quite well.

Yeah, I've used those before.....they can look really nice as long as you're going for a 'modern look'
