I'll be having a bathroom with two access doors, one to the front mudroom and a second pocket door to the bedroom. One problem with having two doors is that guests can feel uncomfortable using the bathroom because they think that someone might accidently walk in from the other room. Then I thought of those "occupied" airplane bathroom door locks.
They are quite reasonably priced and instantly tell anyone that the bathroom is in use.

Half the time one of the two doors will likely be left in a locked state, after the restroom is vacated. Two doors to the same restroom seems confusing to me. I would rather have one door and have to walk a few more steps. On the other hand, if for one person only, or two on best of terms, you don't even need a door

Most of the time the bathroom door to the bedroom will be open (it's a pocket door that actually opens into a small "annex" room that connects to the bedroom). I wanted the door so that I wouldn't have to walk through the front entry to get back to the bedroom after showering.
If guests are over I'll lock the pocket door but with the device at least they'll know it's locked just by looking at it.

Already have one....
on my Satellite industries Tufway 150 sani-can. 
Red flag can be seen long ways off, you know its occupied.
