Hi Guys
Just arrived to this forum and I am looking forward to joining in. I have plenty of plans for the future but I am starting small!
I have just bought a cargo bicycle and will be using it to encourage young people to experience off-grid energy. First up, is to add a blender powered by pedalling! I am going to purchase a Electric Bicycle Motor and a 3 Phase Diode Bridge Rectifier. Connect route 1 to a battery and route 2 to a blender. The young people will fill the blender with fruit and cycle away to make a lovely smoothie. Before I go charging in I was just wondering if anyone else had ideas about the route to go please?

The route I would take is mounting a wheel on the bottom of the blender jar that rubs on the bike tire, like an old bicycle generator.
BTW here is my off grid blender.

Or, get a hand cranked one. And for all the people going "$189 for a blender!?!" it's the cheapest one I could find.
