I was walking the dog one night about a week ago and staring up into the heavens, due to a recent article on the sun. The dog, meanwhile, was consumed by digging at a small section of dirt. I decided I might be spending too much time digging in the dirt myself.
So now today I see we are getting radio bursts from outer space on a 16 day cycle. If something or someone is out there I sure hope we find before I'm in the dirt for good.

My husband and I saw an unidentified flying object one evening while star gazing. We watched it for quite some time and thought it was a satellite but it kept changing speed. All of a sudden there was a flash of blue light and it shot off. The best way I can describe it is like when the Enterprise went into warp speed on the tv show. It really freaked us out and we quickly went back inside. We've never seen anything like it since and hopefully never will.

500 million light years away, means the message was sent 500 million years ago, old news, probably all deceased from global warming millions of years ago. 
It is interesting. I know we are sending a message.
