I have been just been doing a little perusing for windows for a small cabin build. Ideally I would be able to find some Craigslist scores or the like but I am liking the idea of a new product. Has anyone used these guys before? Thoughts.

I'm not sure if your link is showing double pane windows, it dosnt really state. Either way lowes sell a line of "project source" windows that are about the same price. I used 4 if these lowes windows for a deer blind I made. There very cheap, feel very cheap and I see them not lasting long if opened and closed much.

The lowes ones are also very small. For a cabin I would hold out for bigger better windows and/or frame the opening big(48x80 or wall height) and not cut the sheething out.

Yeah I was hoping to do larger casement windows. I just thought the pricing was pretty good on that site. Probably like everything else a get what you pay for situation. Just trying to avoid spending big $$ when I get to the windows. I have some time so will keep my eyes peeled for a deal but looking for a bunch of matching ones which is tough to come across.

Casement are the worst windows to get cheap. The crank or the lock breaks and your either getting specialty parts or not useing the window.

I coincidentally picked these up today. 2 big windows and 3 transoms. That should give me a start. A friend shot me a text on a local store with these out there guess he got em down to 400. Andersen higher end stuff so that should be decent.

I used those same windows in my kid's treehouse
It was like $20 each for a 2x2 window
Aluminum framed
They were essentially mobile home windows
I wouldn't use them for anything more than a kid's treehouse or a deer blind.
They don't get much open and close use being that they are at our remote land site
Their function is to keep rain/bugs out but let sunshine in
And for that, they do a great job!

Not sure if they are around you but we got ours from Home Outlet. They are okay for what we used them for- shed cabin.

If you check around, even homedepot.com those prices are almost retail.

I have 29x57in double hung, full screen and new construction in my house. I paid $185. They want 165 for a no name replacement with a half screen.
