Trying to build a sleep loft in my tiny cabin.
And I want to add five 6-foot-long joists from the back wall to a beam across the middle of the cabin.
On top of those joists, I want to put in 110â€-long floorboards for the sleep loft.
(Width of cabin is 110â€)
Will that work—or is that not enough support for a bed?

The conventional way would be to run floor joists across the width of the cabin. 2x6 of most common species would be okay for a sleeping loft if placed 16"OC. No beam needed.

A loft needs to be supported by independent framing, not solely by wall studs. Add studs cut short by the size of your loft joists to each wall stud. Put the joist on top of the new studs, the added load will be transferred to the floor without adding new load to the walls.

Or with the floor joists on top of the top plate over the stud.

So, about all you can get up there is a futon, some bedding and max two people? No room for a party or dancing? Load should be pretty light.
What kind of headroom will you have? Got any venting up there, it can get stifling.
