After seven years of working on our cabin we finally finished the last room. The kitchen! After much discussion we decided to push the one wall out 6 feet. Moving the kitchen sink area a little further out. I wanted a wood stove oven. Because we’re off grid, and added heating source on cold winters night. Plus who doesn’t want to have 2 woodstoves in their house. I wanted one that looked a little more modern than the old styled ones. We finally settled on the back chef wood burning stove, by Drolet. Everything else in the cabin is tongue and groove pine, this is the only place we put drywall up. I want the kitchen to be bright and light. Because of the add on roof the chimney for the woodstove has a bit of a crazy Bend to go outside. But it kind of adds to the unique finished product. Sorry I can’t figure out how to make the picture Upright
