My family has a camp in cape breton nova scotia.
We have no electricity-we use oil lanterns for light. A solar shower bag hung outside in a wooden shower stall keeps us clean, 25gal.jugs hold water that we get from the brook on the property and we cook on the coleman, BBQ or woodstove.
We wash clothes by hand and hang them on a rope for a clothesline.
We don't have a telephone but we do have an outhouse and a portable toilet that we put vinegar in instead of chemicals.
This camp is 3 miles back in the woods and we love it.
