Started clearing site on 10/24 and have septic and footer in as of 10/26.Building the Northbay plan but making it 16x30.

Hope to start laying the block on Monday and then get started on the floor.I hope to have it framed and in the dry before Thanksgiving.

Had someone lay the block for me. Will do the rest with some help from a friend of mine. This site is beside the cabin I live in year around,purchased this lot after looking for the owner for six years and finally finding him on facebook. Will use this cabin for family and friends also plan on doing some vaction rental with it. I am located in the mountain section of North Carolina and alot of folks from Florida come this way during the summer and fall..I attached a photo of the cabin I live in..

In to day 45 of this build...Have had short weeks due to rain a couple of days each week for the last 3 weeks..Hope to get it in the dry this week and then get the windows and door in.

Day 65 of this build...Have had alot of rain and with just myself and a friend it has been sort of slow progress but hope to have the exterior done in another week or so

Day 90 of the build,have the outside almost done,PTAC unit set for the heat and air..Got a mess to clean up outside!!! It has worked out nice up to this point

Got the inside walls built...Bedroom 15x9...livingroom 15x13...kitchen 6x7 and bath 7x6...

Nice lookin' cabin, DC. What is your water source and how do you dispose of gray (sinks and showers) and black (toilet) water? I could not see any excavation for a septic system.

Do have a septic in been inspected and covered up all but the 4inch pipe that I ran under the footer which I can not connect until I get the rough plumbing inspected which should be next week...Water source will be a well just have not put it in yet...Hope to have it dug next month

Been awhile since I posted on my cabin build..Have had electric and plumbing inspected and have a insulation inspection tomorrow..Widened the RV pad and put in a parking area,have done some mulch beds and planted some plants,well suppose to put in on Monday hope to have it done real soon now,already have someone who wants to rent it for the week of the 4th

Got the well drilled,went 350 ft with 15 gpm should have plenty of water...Got the ceiling in and what sheetrock I plan on hanging which is in the kitchen area and some in the living room area, should start putting primer on it today and then paint,bathroom is done except shower,toilet,vantiy and floor
