I have dragged this little quotation around with me for so long now that I am not 100% sure who I am quoting, perhaps someone here can help with that. I would like to hear any comments.

Wow, that really makes you think.... I have heard so much about Walden's Pond by Thoreau, but have not read it yet. It speaks to alot of cabiners and off-the-gridders.

Thoreau was a momma's boy who visited home everyday for milk and cookies while he was living in his cabin. He didn't walk the talk.

Yes, a left winger, would be equivalent to modern day hippies environmental extremist. Agreed a mommas boy. I'm sure he would want to ban cabin building as soon as he got his finished.
