my house is a log cabin. On both sides of house there are half logs from top to bottom that go up about 18 ft. now the front is only 25 ft wide by 8 ft tall and is only plywood. I also built a 20 by 20 addition on the back that is only plywood. i need a way to cover up plywood in front and back that tie into the half logs on side. i can't continue the logs so i was thinking smart board or board and batten. Or maybe smart board on bottom with cedar shake on top. Im not really sure how to finish it off. any suggestions??

I second board and batten. I have a log cabin and I closed in the back screen room with board and batten rough pine and it tied in together nicely.
