Welp, my cameras grabbed the first skiff of snow at the cabin. I'll be up there this weekend though. It's supposed to make it's way here in town within the hour.

Anyone else getting the cold fluffy stuff yet? Hopefully you're all ready for it! (I am not quite. Probably a weekend or two away!)

Nothing here yet.. We actually had an amazing weekend at the cabin. It was +24C the one day. An absolute fantastic Thanksgiving weekend with the family.

Sigh.. I really hope the white stuff stays away a little longer.

I'm getting so tired of rain. Anything else would be better. Heading out the trail from the cabin yesterday, every creek was out of it's bank. There's 3 different home-built (maybe cabin-built is a better term) bridges we have to cross. The water was at deck level on all three and humming. At least they were still crossable and we were able to get out.

Snowing pretty good now in my neck of the woods. Odd that Anchorage got snow before we did since I’m at 2,800 feet. But just by a few days.

Nothing here yet sadly. Really hope it's gonna start soon since I've wanted to do a small snow camping trip before it's actually cold to test my new backpack and tent... I think when first snow happens Imma just grab my backpack and book it into the woods for 1 or 2 nights.

We got a light snow cover early this morning, most all melted off now.
My Koi in the little outside pond are mighty sluggish; time to net-catch em and get into the winter basement tank.
Wow, its 9:30am and has been flurrying since my 1st post but is now actually snowing!
Today feels a lot more like mid-Nov here than mid-Oct!

No sign of snow so far. In fact, we’re experiencing a heat wave of sorts here in Alberta. Best fall ever!!!

We’ve had sun and 20+ C most days for several weeks now.

Alberta's warm weather stretches into October, but how does this fall stack up? | CBC News

We got a 2nd dump of about 8 inches on Sunday, on top of the 6 inches last week. Snowing off and all all week, so this is sticking until late April.
