Now that's a cabin! A cabin needs a porch. What are you going to side it with?

thanks! ive been searching around trying to figure out a good siding material. I originally thought of the 4x8 sheets of pre-fabbed siding, but am sort of leaning toward some sort of tongue and groove to give it a more rustic feel.
It just wouldnt be a cabin without a big porch. 16ft long by 5 ft deep, with freshly cut cedar porch posts.

The pics look great. What part of the Ouachitas are you in? I'm from Hot Springs and my cabin is up near Eureka Springs/Berryville.

Looks great! We used lap siding on ours. Stained it before it went up.

Im southwest of hot springs, near the oklahoma border, situated between Mt. Ida and Mena. (but live far north right outside of Chicago).
The lap siding on your cabin looks really nice, i'll definitly see if i can budget that!
