I started my cabin revamp project in Oct 2012 and have now almost completed the exterior with cedar Waney (or One-Side bark) and have re-built a larger rear deck. I am currently hand building the deck railing using local cedar branches. I will begin the interior soon and found this site while searching for interior wall ideas. I am loving my cabin in Central Texas and am looking forward to sharing before and after pic's with same.

Gorgeous!

I will also have the Patina Green steel roof and live edge siding. Love it!

What a view.

Thanks-----very labor intensive. One rail took 5 hours. But I love the look as well and what better to do on the deck than
work a cedar puzzle!!!!
