Hey everyone,
The wife and i are 2-3 years from purchasing our retirement home (a little early, im only 40!) and like Michigan. Right now the price of real estate is affordable.
We live in Chicago right now but think it sucks. Been here my whole life.
Like to fish and hunt,play with the dog, sit outside.
Is Baldwin a nice area?

Baldwin is nice. Plenty of hunting, snowmobile, and ORV trails. Not too far from Cadillac. My parents have a place 45min east of there and ours is 1.5hrs due north. My buddy has a place in Brohman about 15 miles south. We have ridden dirt bikes and sleds all over that area. You'll find plenty to do.

I have been thru that area and points further north. Nice area, lots of forest with plenty of things to keep you busy in the outdoors and just exploring. Many lakes and not far from the big lakes. Good luck with your search. Please lot us know how you do.

Home of one of the best fly fishing rivers in Michigan! The P.M. Is a blue water trout stream.

Working two jobs paying off what I call stupid debt.
