I have a 40' long porch that needs skirted
T-111 is all I've seen that might look ok stained like the log cabin.
I'm not waiting in line for more upkeep but short of cultured stone$$$$$
It's all I can think of.
Anybody out there got any thoughts?

Ps I store a lot of "stuff" under there so it really needs enclosed

Thanks 24

Have you thought of some sort of corrugated tin or metal? Not sure what your porch looks like but I have seen some pictures with tin skirting that look pretty good.

T-111 in contact with the ground will eventually rot. The corrugated tin/metal is a good idea. Lattice, rock, stacked stone...

Great idea with the tin
I'll run that by the commanding officer

Something to consider: closing in anything like a porch creates a dark, sheltered spot for all manner of "neighbors" you'd rather not have. Ditto all of the stuff people tend to stash there. Picture mice, snakes, skunks, etc singing Shelter From the Storm.

metal roofing panels. Our Lowes orders in special length cuts. build a PT wood frame work and screw them to that. I have done that several times.

The skirting under my cabin is Hardi panels.

I have applied the Faux Stone product for customers. It is really nice stuff, but at 50 bucks for roughly 8sqft, plus the need for a backing, make it pretty expensive.

Hardi pannels is a good idea but are $60 per 4x8
I guess $400 to never have to paint is worth it.

Thanks

you have a point about neighbors.....the moles that are currently residing there entertain the dogs.
I like Jimi's version better than Bobs...depending on the mood
Thanks 24
