Hey,
I know these are not meant to be used indoors but does anyone here found a way of how to do it anyway?
Do you think it needs to be adjusted every so often? I am talking about how hot it is... With the heat and water pressure valves that comes on the unit.
I am asking because I wonder if it can be used in a way that you set it up once and don't need to bother with it and adjust the hot and cold like you do in your home - with the faucet.... Basically - if it can be used like a regular home hot water tank that just puts out hot water and you adjust how hot it is by using your faucet with cold water...

Well for starters, these are not stack vented units, so cannot be used indoors at all. However you can use these outside a home to heat the water inside,and yes there is a control for heat temp. although it is not marked as such.....

I have an early L5 from a few years back (before they were as readily available domestically) and it is specifically labeled as approved for indoor use (EU labeling, not US labeling). Since the L5 is now labeled for outdoor use only, I'm wondering whether the unit I have is actually safe for indoor use.

dont run it all day long indoors with the cabin closed up tight
just use it for a few minutes at a time youll be fine

I have an L5 that work's just fine indoors.I just make sure Iv'e got plenty of fresh air flow when I fire it up.I think it's no worse than running a couple of burners on my gas stove when I'm cooking something to eat.A good quality C0 detector will warn you if the fume levels get to high.My only problem I have is in the dead of winter,when the water temp is 35,40 degrees and I'm trying to get the water temp up to a nice,comfortable shower temp,it's hard.
