I have my water cistern set up that is supplying a shurflo on demand pump and it's currently working my kitchen faucet. I plan to run a supply line to a tankless water heater for my indoor shower. I was looking at the eccotemp that several people have used on the site. I ran across this Aqua tankless water heater. It seems to have a better digital control for the water temp. Does anyone have any experience with this brand?

Iv'e got an eccotemp L5 in my camper and an L7 in my cabin.Both work great!

Both the L5 and L7 are for outdoor use. If you want to risk it - you can buy them and install indoors... CO will kill you.
I bought the Eccotemp FVI-12-LP. It is meant for INDOOR use. It is quite 'high techy' and gives off error codes.
I got it from amazon with free two day shipping for $269 plus tax.
BTW- where are you located? if your temp drops below zero you need to watch out about those pipes freezing. (from your cistern inside)

My cabin is in West Virginia but I plan on draining the whole system for the winter.

Did you notice that the AquaH requires 110v electrical power? I think it has a fan in it that blows the exhaust and sucks in the fresh air. Not sure about that, but for whatever reason it needs household current. the eccotemps don't , I believe. Nor does the Bosch 330

Yes, it is a direct vent meaning it draws outside air in then uses it to exhaust the gases through a double wall pipe which is good for small cabins since you are not using inside oxygen to vent. I used propane heat in my cabin so that is another reason I'm interested in the Aqua model. I have 120 V power in the cabin so the power would not be an issue.

There is a company called "Marey" that make tankless propane water heaters , they have 3 or 4 different sizes and are very economical and have a good warranty ! I'm hoping to here from some users on how they perform ?

the Eccotemp FVI-12-LP uses electricity as well. it is about 100 bucks cheaper than the aquah you link to.
what i like tho, is that it draws fresh air from outside. the eccotemp uses room air tho vents combustion to the outside.
and it has a tempering valve? as it claims that you set the temp and it maintains it regardless of water temp/flow. that's pretty cool.
the eccotemp uses 2 watts at idle and 110 watts running. according to the manual. all the aquah says is it uses 40w?
I like the extra features.

Creeky, I was originally interested in the aqua becasue of the claims of the temperature valve automatically maintaining temperature. Some of the eccotemp reviews claim that you may have to adjust the temperature valve and flow rate often. Also, since I'm using propane heat in the colder months to heat the 300 sq ft cabin I like not using inside oxygen to run the water heater. I couldn't find many reviews on the aqua to see if it works like they claim though.
