I live in a trailor with a deck that I recently built an overhang on with metal studs and 1/2 "plywood and OSB that I scavenged from jobsites. My wife screened it all in and we installed a few doors on each end. I roofed it with felt and rollout roofing material. We used th have a chimenia but the wife showed up with a small wood stove and if I don't do this soon she'll Hill Betty it. Looking for quick,safe, economical way to do this. Any ideas would surely be appreciated.

You need the thimble and they can get pricey... You could always cut a larger than the pipe hole - at least 8 to 12 inches larger. Then stuff fiberglas insulation and chicken wire around it so it maintains an equal distance from the roof decking.. Then look for some sheet steel or anything square made out of steel to cover the hole. Send the stove pipe through that and use a high temp silicone to try your best to keep the rain out.. This is sort of just winging it, but the most important thing with this is to keep that hot stove chimney away from the wood and shingle roof deck. The larger that hole is, the safer it is. Always keep an eye on it and keep a hose closeby just in case

Never compromise your safety by cheaping out. Please use an approved thimble so you don't have a fire and insurance company won't cover fire loss due to unapproved materials used. Cheers
