radiator fan connected to solar panel?

I wish to have a good size one and a 16"radiator fan seems like a good fit. bldginsp Member	# Posted: 17 Jul 2014 20:00 Reply He didn't explain much about how he did it in the video. The fan has to be a DC fan unless the solar panel has a micro inverter so it makes AC. Beyond that, the fan has to be the same voltage as the panel, and the panel has to produce the right wattage. I guess. But of you want the fan at night you need battery, charge controller, and inverter.
