Well, do like I did and have some fun with the money you are saving by not paying the greedy power companies, you need to treat yourself for making the right choices in saving money and energy right?
We, I have been saving money, maybe for the solar upgrade or maybe for that C5 Corvette or....maybe something completely different like a 2003 Crown Vic Interceptor....it is so many ways of fun and almost practicle too.
Thanks to my solar I can have some fun and so can you.....just DO IT!

Groingo, I think you need your Very Own BLUES MOBILE ! Complete with Big Honkin Speaker on the roof and down the path you go... Hmmm Moose & Deer calls emanating from it during Hunting Season.... That'll get'em LOL Anyone got an old Air Raid Siren Groingo can have to strap to the roof ?

My wife and I are hoping to install a PV solar at our home in 2016. I'm just wondering if you installed your system yourself or hired a solar contractor?
We have found 1 contractor that we like, but I'm thinking of purchasing the components through Wholesale Solar and install ourselves. With a electrician doing the final connections.We would be using racking not a roof mount. What's your thought of borrowing money to install a larger system ( once and done) vs installing a small system then add on as we could afford more panels? Thank you

I love my solar set up. In the throws of wiring the cottage for a bathroom light and about 8 outlets. It is a small system, about 750 wh. We have one panel with two L16 batteries. I have learned so much from this site and youtube and having no previous electrical skill, have been able to install this myself. We are in a very remote area so any technical assistance is really not practical. So far so good. This is very possible. Do a lot of research and do it yourself.
