How to fill in or seal the scallop at the top.
We used the foam that was near the sheet metal when we bought, but did not like how it looked.
Any new ideas would be appreciated.

You can use a J-channel which they carry at Menards in galvanized.
You normally install the J-channel first then install the ribbed steel into it.

You could take a piece of flat pine and scribe it to fit the ribbing and nail it in place.

Talk to a mill-work shop and see if they could mill a corrugated molding that could cover the space. It wont be inexpensive but it will be done.

They make 'big stretch' caulk in different colors, for filling large gaps.

Scribe a piece of Pine as Skoot suggests. That is the best result even if slightly time consuming and maybe a grumble or two but worth the effort. A good jig saw makes it simpler.

Just a straight piece of trim board might work. Stained a darker colour so the dark spots/shadowing caused by the corrugations just blends into the background. The trim also works as a distraction.

Home Depot or Lowes sells a piece of 2x2 that is cut to fit the contour, I am pretty sure it's really made for under lay... It's not perfect but it works pretty good... That's what I used..
