Spent some time this summer on the lake with my Depth Finder and Range finder drawing a depth chart of my small cottage lake.

Spent the last few days cutting out the various contours in wood and framing it.

It was, but it was a hot summer day with a few cold beers so I enjoyed every minute of it.

 Thanks for the compliments guys

I did something similar with my CNC router for our last property that we owned. Ignore the blue blob...I am making a sign for someone and had to do a resin pour test so I used my scrapped lake one as my guinea pig.

Really cool project! Are you going to stain it or leave it natural?

FishHog, how large is the surface area and how deep is it?

Its pretty small, about 250m wide x 800m long. Deepest spot is about 25'

And yes I mixed metric and imperial units is one sentence. I grew up during the time they changed in Canada and use both all the time.

About a 50-ac. surface area? That's not "pretty small"! Kinda jealous.
