Snowfall update for Manitoba as of today (Mar 14). After a snowy Jan and Feb, only 6 cm of snow so far this March, putting our seasonal snowfall up to 166.6 cm. That's 5th most through mid March, but we'll need another 18 cm to finish as a top 10 snowy winter for the season

Getting to and from the cabin has been taking longer than usual.

We’ve had way too many snow days followed by -40C. I’m ready for some melting. 3A215EDC864F44D7B.jpeg

Thanks for the report. Still got a bunch a freight to get in. This cooler weather should make for great riding once the base freezes

If you haven't been in in awhile, and the trail you use isn't used by others, I'd strongly suggest that you break it first without a load behind you (and bring a shovel).
I'm sure it has set up some and will be a bit easier, but three weekends ago, it was quite the ordeal breaking trail once we got into the woods. As in hours to go a mile type thing.

Lots of snow there! I am water access in N. MN and went two weeks ago (for the first time since New Year) for the first time and had a long time getting to the front door, which included stuck sleds, lots of shoveling, "swimming" in snow to the door......the next week, could have went in church shoes froze real hard!!
