Ya know......
That is not too far removed from the 300ish feet of dark garden hose coiled out in the sun hooked up to a faucet and a garden sprinkler head that I used in 1976 out in the Anza Borrego, CA. I stayed in a school bus camper conversion for a short while in Salton Sea.
You did Not want to shower in mid-sunny day! No mixing valve....
But in the late aft/early evening when the hose water temp had moderated a bit it was every bit as good as off a domestic water heater. Wait too long and it was luke warm to cold again.
