I am to the point where I need to pick out new furniture for the cabin. This past weekend we went up to seal the floors and I tossed the yard sale furniture that got me through construction. I hung a few things on the wall but I struggle with what type of furniture will look good with room. I will be keeping the table though, as it was my great grandmothers desk. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated, decorating is not my strong suit.

Leather looks good anywhere. Although it has the downside of being cold in the winter.

You cabin has nice, clean lines, light colored wood floors, white walls - I would do mid century Scandinavian which is quite easy to find. Even Ikea has similar styles. Look through Google images for mid century Scandinavian interiors.

It such a personal thing....like kayak paddles....
Contemporary Scandi would look good there, as would Mission Style.
At one time we did Amish, then changed but kept some in storage, now back to it at the new place. Our beds are folding futon 'couches', a good use of space in a 16x24; recreational, not full time, but I do prefer my home bed.
We are 'wood' people, seems right for cabin life to us.

I like the leather idea and I also thought that mid century modern would look good but my wife disagrees ….

 It’s not a wood stove, it’s LP

Looks great! I'm not jealous, not jealous at all I say!

Haha, I can't wait to be moved in. Still got a lot of interior work to go sadly. Nice work.
