I see weather has called for snow Central and Southern Utah Elevations 5000-10000 as of last week. Anyone yet see it come down. It won't be long now and the landscape will change. I'm hoping for a good dry winter. I know most want the white stuff I could do without just one more year.

Been much too warm and dry here so far. We REALLY need rain and snow. Last years snow pack was much below average for the winter, and creeks and rivers are low.
Can't wait for the rain and snow. Been a hot dry summer, and LOTS of fires and smoke all summer.
I'm not in high country, but it's about right outsie the door. Hard to miss from here.

Malamute Yea, I hear ya. It has been an ugly one that is for sure. I live on the other end of the state from you. I know we need the rain and it will rain. Last year it was flooding here till the end of July now it is dry. I did like the winter last year with hardly no snow. It was the best winter that I have ever seen. How close where the fires to you????

Had an early winter storm for California on Sunday/Monday. Our cabin is at 5,600 ft, but the storm wasn't a real cold one. Any snow we got is melted by now.

Yep- snow's been flying off and on for weeks at our place! After driving through snow at night in early October, we woke up the next morning to this scene. Looking forward to ski season!!

We've had snow here. Nothing much - just dustings. Molly's a happy dog though. She was chasing the shovel this morning when I cleared off the boardwalk. The geese left the other day, so I suppose winter is here early this year.

it's snowing here in the Twin Cities right now, big, heavy fat flakes. West of here is getting it too.
I'm sure all the idiots on the roads are out in force, it wouldn't be a first snowfall without them!
