Here's my cabin Last Sat Jan 11th. Cabin shots are nice, but maybe some activity would be cool. Snowshoeing, sledding, pounding nails, anything done at your cabin in the winter.
my only pic. this time.

a pic of mine from last weekend after I shoveled the snow off the porch. I guess I need to fix the date on the game camera!

I don't have any photos of my cabin in the winter. It's a 3 season cabin. I have not been up there in the winter for 15 years. Here is a photo taken in 1983. We are on the frozen lake in front of our property. Me,my nephew and my daughter.

the first one is from one of my cameras. LOTS of deer tracks, and even a couple of beds right in the middle of the driveway. Rough winter for the deer...

This was New Year's 2014. Had 80" of the white gold fall by then. Just took a hit with the warm up and little rain last weekend. 3-6 in the forecast for today. Love every minute of of winter. We bought the land in 2012 and built the cabin last summer. The wife and I used to ride 150 mile days and now they are 150 mile weeks because of the last 2 pix. Never had more fun doing less. Hope everyone is enjoying their winter as well.

We were up last weekend and we hit -28 C on the way up on the Friday. When we got to the cabin it was -25 C outside and -18 inside. It took most of the day but we got it nice and warm inside. We had a great time, love skiing and everything about the winter. We have a neighbour who lets us unload and park in his driveway so we just have to carry in our supplies through a path about 100 yards long through the snow! We can't wait to get back up in February!

This is my cabin in the timber a few weeks ago in a blanket of snow with more on the way. You can see the outhouse to the left side and the picnic table with a cover of snow.

That's real nice.

Thanks!

Oh and another reason I love where we are at... The 3-6" they called for yesterday turned into closer to 10". Plus more today. Just love me some lake effect. Got word the groomers will be out. We'll be going up for sure now.

We too have groomed trails around us. One comes within a 1/4 mile of the rear of our land. I have several snowmobiles, even three 120's for the little ones. The little one used to be my own and now it's the grandchildren.

Our first snow this year was over 14 inches. That is 6 inches more than the average yearly snowfall.

We loved it.

We don't have much snow this year. It is very strange. Here is a photo taken in a previous year of our house (office) and motel beside it.

Owen

Your land sounds a lot like ours. We are 1/2 mile from the ORV/sled trail. Our property boarders state land on 2 sides. I have an old RR grade that was used for logging many years ago that crosses our property and we take that right to the trail. It's our slice of heaven and we're lucky to find it when we did.

I hope the 120 lasts till we have grandkids! It should it's a 4S. Something I'm think of for me for my next one. These kids are lucky today. That mini has more suspension than the 79 Jag had when I started.
