I'm certain most of you have heard that Missouri, specifically centering around St. Louis, has been hit with massive amounts of rain. I have been on pins and needles watching the USGS water gauge (online) on the river on which my cabin is located. It doesn't help when I see videos like this:

I believe that it won't have reached my cabin but I won't know for certain until this weekend when I go check on it. I would have gone down earlier however there is a low water bridge on the road to the cabin that prevents access during floods.
