my company is building a new plant and we had some big conveyors come in the other day. They packed them on some serious dunnage.
These beams are about 8" by 6" and 10-11 feet long. I asked if I could have them and not only did they say yes, but they will use one of the forklifts to put them on the trailer for me.
Not exactly sure what I am going to do with them yet, but I can't stand the thought of wood like this getting buried out back in a pit in the mine.
