When I decided to construct a sauna using dovetail joints, from looking at photos I just could not figure out how to layout the dovetail.
Since figuring this out it took most of the brainpower I can muster from from my two functioning braincells, I decided to share what I've learned.
On www.peelinglogs.blogspot.com I posted the process to show how to layout a 1/2 dovetail joint.
Once the layout is done, the shoulder is cut with a handsaw and the dovetail is cut with a chainsaw or axe. When, I get some time I will post some photos that show how to cut the dovetail.
