my cabin needs a new roof  , and i just got a quote for $6100. I know nothing about roofing and do not have the expertise to fix it myself. I know it needs a full tear and replace all the shingles and some of the wood needs to be replaced that it rotten, its a plank wood roof. The cabin is an A frame roof that is 51'x 10'. there is a covered porched in the front with a 17'x10' A frame that meets the main roof. then there are two shed roofs off the back one is 17'x13' and the other is 20'x5'. Can anyone tell me if my quote is too high?? I know its not a cheap fix but i do not want to get ripped off either. Any input is appreciated
