I'm moving to East Texas and really want a small cabin as my forever home. I have been looking at Derksen buildings but I'd like to get actual Derksen owners opinions on how the building is holding up over the long term. I am female and single and can do some repairs, but I know as I get older (54 now) major structural repairs will get harder, so I'm hoping whatever I get will last. I'm a new member and I really love this forum. The people here are very helpful and encouraging!

The biggest problem with any pre-fabbed building like those is the difficulty in installing a sufficient amount of insulation in the roof.
