So would the concrete deck blocks do the trick? Could I get away with using 3 per side and putting 2x8 on those? Then Strapping floor to the 2x8s? Would I want to use two 2x8?

Thx

for 8x10 id use only 4 piers one at each corner or 8 ( 2 at each corner)
a line of 3 can be trouble if you dont need it dont do it

sorry to op this is not about your log cabin

your plywood wall sheathing goes down past the sill plate and nails to your end joist its strong you dont need two 2x8s

i dont know what you mean by deck blocks and not sure what you want to strap

ok its a pier block
yes deck blocks will work if 4 id use the 12x12 but if you use 2 at each corner then the 10x7 seems ok
ive never used these i dont like them its extra work to hide them
owen chistenson builds outbuildings like yours and wont tell you to get a permit but maybe he doesnt read log cabin subjects
