  Buiding a 16x16 one room cabin should I use deck blocks or 3' deep footings with Quickrete concrete forming tube.

  Your foundation piers will be more stable on the long term if the bottom of the concrete is below the frost depth. What is the frost depth in your area?

  You'll be far better off with deep piers. If you just put blocks on grade, those blocks will get moved up and down with the freeze-thaw cycles, throwing your cabin floor, walls and roof out of whack. How long do you want the cabin to last?
