Small Cabin Forum / Cabin Construction / Recommended minimum height for a loft with a thin matress?

letmein Member	# Posted: 19 May 2014 03:13 Reply  As you can read in my other thread, the house I'm building is severly limited by height, 3,7 meters (12,14 feet). If I wanted to squeeze in a small loft where you could perhaps sit up, what would be the ideal height I'm aiming for? The roft will only be used as a sleeping and reading spot, there will be a thin matress there.
