My wife and I live in NE TX. We own 40 acres of hardwood bottomland we hunt on, and have finally gotten our ducks in a row for a small cabin on the property. We are doing a 24x20 with a loft for sleeping area.

Nice floorplan. I would look at one with a small bedroom downstairs. We didn't plan our cabin to have one. Now we are wishing we did and are trying to find a place to fit a small bedroom downstairs. We are off grid and it gets to hot in the loft. Having a bedroom on the main level is great as you age and not having to go downstairs at night to use the bathroom is also convenient. If you have guests you will have some privacy.
