Small Cabin Forum / Off-Grid Living / Wood ash as a desiccant

paulz Member	# Posted: 1 Nov 2021 12:45 Reply  Was just reading that it works, anyone use it? I have a big tool box in the shipping container, just laid a pan of ashes in the bottom. I know there are commercial desiccants but it something to do with the wood stove cleanouts.
