This may be discussed someplace here but I didn't see it. If you wire your small "shed" for DC use and install a solar panel must this have an inspection, or can you just do it?

In most cases the answer is "no" if you're not connected to grid power - Even if you are running 120V generator power. Ask your inspector to be sure

We really prefer just to build our "shed" with no inspections at all if possible. No connections to grid. Hubby has been builder most of his life so he has the know how. We just want to build indiscretely and enjoy our "shed".
