cjuracsik	# Posted: 23 Oct 2009 09:56 Reply When traveling to foreign countries with unsafe drinking water, we've started taking a hand pump water filter, which creates safe, great tasting water, so I think it could be used with water that isn't too murky. The hand pump is about $100, but I think it's worth it considering the volume of water you get. I got one at REI and you may be able to find them on ebay cheaper.
