Just starting in my neck of the woods and I will post pics when it is noticeable. Hows it in your area?

I look forward to seeing the pics. From my time of living in Maine, I learned what fall foliage is supposed to look like. We don't get those bright, vibrant colors very often here in Kansas.

I must confess, I am not familiar with that type terrain; I apologize if you were offended.

Not a problem. The desert is, IMHO, the most beautiful place in the world.... you'd have to see it to believe it!

The trees down low are just starting ti turn. It's mostly cottonwoods along the creeks and rivers, and all yellows. Up in the higher country, the aspens should be going well, I haven't been up there in a few weeks. They're mostly gold, but theres a couple places they go orange and red also. Have some older pics from up on the mountain though.

The Quakies ( aspens ) are getting gold -- right before they they turn sometimes they become the most fantastic flourescent green -- the picture doen't do it justice but in the sun it was a green never before seen in nature ...

Southern Vermont. The leaves are starting to turn. Might be a bit hard to tell from this pic. Beautiful fall sky.

Going back up next Saturday. More pics then.

Nice pics, still waiting on mother nature in my neck of the woods. However, we are getting a great soaking rain as I type.

Few fall pics from this weekend's trip to our cabin.
Most beautiful time of the year, I think.

Hello,
The weather here in Wisconsin has been great but it's been pretty dry all summer. A lot of the corn grown around here didn't make it or did poorly. I thought the fall colors would be poor for the same reason but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'd say the maples are about at there peak or a little past.

Thanks for looking,
Mister Breeze

Such a beautiful time of year isn't it?
I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. I am hoping that next weekend the leaves will still be good at the cabin. They were actually less colorful than at home last time we were there and that surprised me.
