Wild flowers are popping up everywhere now. Found a nice Garter snake that I almost stepped on. Also found a very cool moth that I've never seen before.

Nice pic of the snake. Snakes can be so beautiful.... so long as they're WAY over there --------->

I saw a salamander on my land this weekend. First one of those I have seen. He was too fast for me to get any pics though.

grass mowed for the second time...

garden planted...tomatoes ..peppers..cukes...two types of squash are in the ground.

Well, Sunday was a warm day...... last night it snowed over 3 inches.

well covered up all the veggie plants with plastic pots this evening ....snow all day in TN at my daughters house.
Merry Taxmas (April 15th ) everyone!!! its winter for 2 more days for us here in the south. The old timers always called this "Easter Cold Snap"...the last cold spell till the fall. We shall see.

We have snow coming today. By tomorrow up to eight inches. Up to a foot south of us in northern WI. I went north yesterday to look at a cabin site. Most of the snow has melted, but the ice on the lake is crazy deep, maybe three feet.
