What permits are necessary in CANADA on private property, to build a cabin, (off grid) that’s more than 100 square feet?

Thanks

Best to check local regs where you plan on building. Will vary from province to province, organized vs unorganized township, etc.
In my area (southwestern Ontario) it's like building a small home:
1000 sq ft min with block foundation
Full septic System
R50 in ceilings
2x6 exterior walls, etc etc.

So check first to save headaches.

...building permit required, that includes individual building, plumbing, heating and insulation inspections as you move forward on your build.
