The wife will be pleased now. No more camping out in a construction site. F979302936AD4E349.jpeg

I like the extra beefy looking "moulding" on the ceiling. Looks good to me.

Looks like a great place to sleep!
What is the wall heater model? Are you happy with it? Too loud, or not bad?
And what's that radio? Is that an old tube radio?

Nice work, it’s a great feeling knowing you got a good clean place to sleep...We just finished our bedrooms as well and I couldn’t wait to test ride it...

Quoting: Nate R Looks like a great place to sleep! What is the wall heater model? Are you happy with it? Too loud, or not bad? And what's that radio? Is that an old tube radio The heater is a broan, don’t recall the model but naught on Amazon. It is ok. In hindsight I would have just done a baseboard heater because of the noise. It’s not the noise it self but the cycling that causes a problem. I end up running a fan so that I don’t hear it turning on and off.
The radio is a reproduction Vicrola with Bluetooth . I bought it so I could listen to the news on the radio. Usually when I am home and going to work I can listen in my truck but here I needed an actual radio not just my phone and a Bluetooth speaker. I haven’t owned a proper radio in close to 20 years but I thought this one would fit in at the cabin and complements my 75 year old GE refrigerator

Dont do too many coats too soon. Each has to really dry through, not just dry to the touch. Too many makes the drying process slow down. For myself I found going 2x the stated drying time before the next coat avoided trouble (which I did have initially).

This is a thinned product they recommend 20-40 min between coats

How is the off-gassing, any nasty smell?

Not at all it is a 50/50 mix tung oil/citrus solvent. Smelled like oranges

Last work detail before season starts and I go back to work full time. My father got is second COVID shot so he came to help me. We did vapor barrier on vaulted ceiling and loft ceiling, hung a few bits of drywall, put up the rough pine, and installed the fan. Will likely only be back once a month for a day or so to cut the grass, won’t have time for many projects.
Dad brought me a flag for the porch. Snapped a pic inside the mill, loaded the 1x6x14 right off the mill. 91D8CA5D35D84DE4B.jpeg
