My wife observed that nearly everything we have done here has been outside. She really wanted a new countertop and sink, an upper set of cabinets (still waiting on those) and she wanted to move the window over the kitchen table down the wall and replace it with a sliding patio door. So that's what we did!
The projects have turned out very nice and the additional light has made the place look bigger. Here are some before and after pictures.

Thanks guys! Yes really happy with the results! Still waiting on the upper cabinets to replace the open shelves and the backsplash tile is ordered.
The countertop is granite with a granite composite sink. We were able to find a remnant at the local business that does granite countertops. Finding a remnant that we liked and that fit made the end price... including sink and installation, less than what it would have cost just for a slab of granite alone. Pretty happy.
