Well the shell is done and I can hang out in it with propane lanterns, stove, and kerosene heater. I did all the work myself except shingles. Thought I'd go for a more rustic look, but got tired and lazy and went with low-manx siding. All supplies, tools and materials were hauled uphill on my sxs. A "normal" truck would not make the 35+ degree incline. I enjoy the heck out of it. I still have to wire, insulate, and do the interior. That will be spring after deer season in AL. Click on URL for a video of the progression. I enjoyed doing it, but at 61 years old, I'm done doing a project like this!

Well Done! We had a 16x24, one big room with Cath ceiling and liked the space (for us 2) a lot, Very 'livable'.

Looks great. Once the exterior is done it feels like the work has just started...but you can breath.

Looks great! Reminds me of my place, hauling all materials up hill on 4wd. But that was 15 ago, now I barely haul myself up!
