Just installed to make the loft safe for the kids. Used 2x2 ballisters with a 2x3" rail, dry wall screws. Very sturdy... I cut as many pieces as I could at home and cut the rest by hand (off-grid). Now I don't have to worry about the kids sliding over the edge with their sleeping bags.

Thanks for the kind words. I try and tackle a small project with every visit... Still feels like years from completion!
