I have started my project. Here what is in mind. A 16 x 24 Barn style cabin. Metal roof, pine siding, T&G inside, insulated, insulated windows, rough electric for future, portable toilet, sink, full upstairs, propane range, 80 watt solar panel for 2 lights, wood burner, 8 ft. deep covered porch. Looks like it will come in around $20K. I'm not building the shell, I'm having it done.

sounds great! I want to install T&G in our vaulted ceiling (currently false ceiling-yuck) Looking forward to photos of your progress!

Excellent plan,pfire.You won't regreat it.I wired my cabin for 120 volt as well as 12 volt.I use the 12 volt for my lighting,water pump and cell phone charging.The 120 volt for the washer,radio,tv,computer,microwave,toaster back up lighting,Lights and outlets in the barn.
