rayyy Member	# Posted: 3 Jun 2012 07:18 Reply I put a cedar pine floor in my last house kitchen.laid down 4 coats of high gloss water based poly.and it came out beautiful. i would vaccuum and mop it and add a fresh coat several times a year especially in the high traffic wear areas.a word of advice,if you stain the pine,it tends to turn alot darker than you expect.Pine naturally darkings up with out any help.
