Here is it just a few days ago. Looks prettymuch the same, but the battens are installed on the siding. Still 100% unfinished on the inside, but that is what i plan to focus on this summer.

I was up there doing a little bushhogging around the property. I though this was a pretty cool pic, panorama with the old homeplace on the left, my new cabin way back to the right.

Here we are almost 6 years later with no update. I've been doing some work at the cabin lately and started thinking about the forum. Thought I'd upload a few pics to show where we are these days.
First major upgrade was a deck out front:

Then we built a roof over it. Total game changer when it's rainy but too hot to want to be inside.

Latest project has been adding some square footage. Upgrading from 12x16 to 24x16. Cant wait to have room for beds that dont have to fold up!

This is how it currently sits. We are having a baby in a few weeks, so I will probably have to leave it trapped like this for a few months, hopefully the tarp will do the job until I can get back to it.

Hello,
We are building a 12x16’ cabin very similar to yours. We would like to put in a roof like the one you have, however we are having trouble finding plans or exact dimensions for said gable roof. Would you be willing to share your plans/details for your roof? It would be incredibly appreciated. Thank you
